A care home has collected 20 shoeboxes worth of donations which were handed out to homeless period over Christmas.
People living at Forest Care Village, in Borehamwood, alongside relatives and staff made it their mission to help those in need this festive season and came up with the idea of filling boxes of essentials and goodies, which would be handed out on Christmas Eve.
Together, 20 were filled, each wrapped in Christmas paper and accompanied with a card. The boxes included food, toiletries, and clothing.
They were given to the Watford Homeless Warriors, a charity based in Watford, who handed out the boxes on their bikes to people living on the streets.
