A group of children sang at a retirement home.
The Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy choir visited Holsworthy House in Romford to perform a Christmas concert for the residents.
Twenty children from Year 3 to Year 6 had been rehearsing over the last month to perfect their performance of Christmas songs and poems.
Summer-Rose, who sang a solo, said: "It was so much fun and the people made me feel special."
After the concert, the children sat and chatted to the residents about their lives and their past.
Year 4 pupil Sid said: "They have had such interesting lives, it was great chatting to everyone. I loved it."
The school hope to see the choir performing more concerts in the community in the future.
