The family of a man who was stabbed to death have paid tribute to a “lovely kid who always had a smile on his face”.
Ahsanullah Nawazai, 20, from Walthamstow died after he was found stabbed multiple times in Walsingham Way, London Colney at 7.15pm on Wednesday.
A 30-year-old woman, from London Colney, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. She remains in police custody.
Mr Nawazai was taken to hospital shortly after he was discovered seriously injured in the street by a member of the public, but later died.
In a statement, his family said: “He was a happy person, a lovely kid and much-loved member of the family. He always had a smile on his face.”
Detectives from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit continue their investigation to establish the circumstances around Mr Nawazai’s death.
The cordon in Walsingham Way has now been lifted.
