A “moving” concert was held at Allum Manor and Hall on Saturday.
The Rotary Club of The Studio of Elstree and Borehamwood put on the fabulous display which featured a high calibre of music.
Lead by Lucy Cumming and conducted by Derek Holland, one of the stars of show was internationally renowned soprano’s, Janice Watson.
Rotary club president Sandra Parnell said: “The music lifted the soul and entered your heart. A truly moving experience which absolutely must be repeated. It was just overwhelming, and magical. What a privilege for our town to host such a performance.”
The concert was organised around the annual NSPCC Craft and Christmas Fayre.
The next planned concert will take place on June 16. The Civic Festival Concert will be performed at All Saints’ Church in Shenley Road.
