Three ward councillors say they are “delighted” with the progress made on an estate over the past couple of years.

Conservative councillors Susan Brown, Alan Plancey, and Gary Silver, who represent Brookmeadow, have been steadily improving Organ Hall in Borehamwood.

When Cllr Brown was appointed as a county councillor for the area, she pledged to help the community and make improvements.

With her new powers, roads have been re-laid, walkways levelled, parks tidied, and paths cleared from overgrowth.

Cllr Brown said: “I finally felt I could help the community in improving the area. The area had become unloved. I knew the residents wanted to see some action after years of empty promises.

“It’s so delightful seeing how the estate has changed, new families are now moving in and the community spirit amongst residents is fantastic.

“I’m so pleased we could work together to improve the area, and look forward to continuing working with residents. Finally, as Brookmeadow Councillors we continue to help residents with a variety of personal issues."
