Good morning,

Wrap up warm today because it is not going to get much warmer than it is right now with temperatures struggling to get into double figures for all of us.

And it will be grey and cloudy too. Better weather expected tomorrow but Thursday is already looking like a washout.

Back to today and on the roads and rail, a couple of problems for drivers to contend with it but with many schools being off, it should be a lot quieter as the rush hour goes on.

Major delays over in Essex heading into London due to a crash on the North Circular. Queues on the M11 begin from just after the M25 with the crash site in the Crooked Billet underpass near South Chingford. The North Circular in the other direction is struggling too from the A10 to South Chingford.

The M25 can't escape the traffic and stretches of it are busier than others including anti-clockwise between j20 and j19, towards, the M40 and Heathrow from Maple Cross, anti-clockwise at j25 and anti-clockwise at the M11.

Usual long queues on the A1 southbound approaching Stirling Corner in Borehamwood while close by, Watford Road in Elstree is shut due to emergency works so expect longer delays in the area.
