A dozen dogs donned pink jumpers and sauntered alongside volunteers during a charity walk to raise money for breast cancer.
Asda staff invited a the pets, from the National Animal Welfare Trust. to raise money and launch its national campaign, Tickled Pink, in Tylers Way near North Western Avenue.
A total of six volunteers, two from the National Animal Welfare Trust and four from Asda took part.
The walk marks the start of Asda Watford’s Tickled Pink charity drive, which will raise funds for Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now, as part of the supermarket’s campaign throughout October.
Beverley Ashdown, community colleague at Asda Watford, said: “This year, colleagues in Watford will be ‘in the pink’ throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness of breast cancer, and the fundraising activities taking place instore and in the community.
“We want to encourage as many members of the community to get involved, which this year included local pooches.
“We hope the people of Watford will help make this year one to remember.”
