A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with a head injury following a hit-and run.
A crash involving a car and a motorbike happened in Furzehill Road near the junction with Barnet Lane at around 1pm yesterday (Sunday).
But the car did not stop and the rider was left injured on the ground. His injuries are not described as life threatening.
The road was closed for three hours, reopening at 4.15pm.
Police enquiries into the hit-and-run are ongoing but officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
