Police have confirmed the man stabbed in the town centre last week is 19-years-old.
Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, at 11.15am last Thursday.
The teenager was taken to hospital but his injuries were not described as “serious”.
Emergency services were spotted near the cinema and bingo hall in the very centre of the town.
Police say no arrests have been made so far but anyone with any information should call police on 101 quoting crime reference number ISR 266 of October 4.
