A man was stabbed in the town centre.

Emergency services were called to Shenley Road in Borehamwood at 11.15am yesterday morning to reports a man had sustained stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not serious.

A number of police cars and paramedics, as well as the fire brigade, were spotted near The Point, by the cinema and bingo hall.

However, police officers are making enquiries to find exactly where the stabbing may have taken place, but they say it was in the Shenley Road area.

Anyone who saw what happened or has any information is asked to call police quoting crime reference number ISR 266 of October 4.
