People who use two parks in Elstree are being asked for their views on a five-year plan for improvements.
Allum Lane Spinney, behind Barham Avenue, and the adjacent Parkfields, which borders the railway track, are due for some improvements including better entrances, more benches, and changes to the vegetation.
A drop-in session will be held on Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm at Allum Lane Community Centre, Elstree, where people can view current plans and give their views.
The project is being run by landowners Hertsmere Borough Council and the county-wide Countryside Management Service (CMS).
Project officer Ian Gibbon said: "It is an important local recreation area, which is particularly well used by dog walkers, and it's also an important area for nature conservation.
"The long-term aim of the Greenspace Action Plan is to preserve and enhance the recreation and nature conservation value of the park."
Those who cannot make the consultation session can call 01727 848168 to find out more.
