A new weekly food market is launching this weekend, promising a delicious melting pot of the best street food, craft and produce between 11am and 4pm on Saturdays.

Ian Dodds, director of market and communications at KERB, says: “We love Crouch End and the opportunity to be part of a new story behind the iconic Hornsey Town Hall appealed to us a lot.

“Across both markets we’re excited to collaborate with operators who share our vision for a new era of Saturday markets, working with local businesses alongside the best of KERB to develop a new vision for how Saturday markets should be.”

The first KERB X is set in front of the Hornsey Town Hall and brings together the street food prowess of KERB’s 100 trader fleet. Working alongside the Crouch End community KERB X Hornsey Town Hall aims to ensure that local businesses benefit from the newly enlivened space and locals enjoy a real mix of food and talent.

KERB X Hornsey Town Hall is part of an ongoing transformation of Hornsey Town Hall which will see the historic site restored and redeveloped to encompass a world class Arts Centre complete with a private cinema and a rooftop bar complete with stunning views over Alexandra Palace.

Urban regeneration specialists The Time + Space Co., the Arts Operators of Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre, hope that the new pop-up market will encourage local people to support local traders and enable business to thrive in Crouch End.

Piers Read, Managing Partner said: “We are thrilled to partner with KERB to roll-out this exciting new concept, their ethos sits so well with our objectives to support the local community and local businesses in particular. The Town Hall square is the ideal place to host social functions, where people can meet, eat and work together in the heart of Crouch End.”

The best of KERB’s fleet of traders and local craft and produce will be on rotation across the market every Saturday.
