Spring has finally sprung and with the Easter bunny just around the corner it’s time to start planning for the Easter holidays.

Harrow Arts Centre have a packed programme of family theatre and magical workshops.

Harrow Times: The Captain Calamity Easter Sp-EGG-tacular

To kick start the fun, Guinness World Record Breaking Entertainer Captain Calamity returns to Harrow Arts Centre on April 5 with his famous silliness, magic, interactive storytelling, unbelievable science and much more.

The children become the stars, engaging with the performance and becoming part of the act as they are invited to shout out, jump up and get stuck into the action. This adventure is tailored for children ages three to eight-years-old.

On Tuesday, April 10, The People’s Theatre Company bring one of the world’s most loved nursery rhymes to life on stage, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.

This performance is especially tailored for adults to enjoy with their children as you both relieve yourself from nostalgia and experience charming tales with sing along songs, colourful animal characters and heart-warming family fun. This show is for anyone aged two and above.

Harrow Times: Beat Goes On: Samba Drumming Workshop

You can then finish the half term off in style with the unique opportunity to take part in Beat Goes On – Samba Drumming Workshop, as seen on CBeebies.

On Thursday, April 12, this high energy, unforgettable workshop will develop and showcase the whole family’s skills as you learn Samba techniques and create your very own Samba piece.

Designed as a family workshop, so you can get creative and drum up a beat together. This workshop is suitable for anybody aged six and above.
