Development of an old retail park into affordable homes is set to start in the next few months.

Network Homes, a Wembley-based housing association, will be working with PDR Construction to deliver 122 new affordable homes in Station Road, Edgware.

Work is set to start in spring 2018 and will be completed in September 2020.

Paul Dransfield, managing director at PDR Construction, said: "PDR have worked with Network Homes for over a year to secure an agreement for this landmark project in the centre of Edgware.

"The 122 new affordable homes represent our continued progress with housing providers in Greater London to help deliver affordable homes."

The development, called Premier Place, will consist of four blocks from four to 17 storeys in height, with 76 parking spaces, and the mixture of apartments will be available for affordable rent or shared ownership.
