A climber who lost his mother to pancreatic cancer is to embark on another trek up one of the highest mountains in Africa.
Jamie Rosenfield, 28, from Elstree will take on Mount Toukbal in Morocco, which stands at 4,167m tall, alongside 16 friends.
Jamie's mother, Kim, died from pancreatic cancer at the age of 54. Since she died, her family have been raising money for the Pancreatic Cancer Action charity.
The Morocco expedition will begin on March 15.
Jamie said: "The response and donations we have received so far have been overwhelming to say the least - now we just have to climb. I am very happy to be raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Action and helping them with all the fantastic work they do.”

Pancreatic cancer is the UK's fifth biggest cancer killer. Around 10,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer across the country every year.
Every day, 24 people will die of pancreatic cancer and only five per cent of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer will survive for more than five years.
Money raised towards Pancreatic Cancer Action helps the charity focus on ways to detect the illness early.
