A museum exhibition is winning over the public this summer with record numbers of visitors.
The Toys, Games and Gadgets exhibition at the Borehamwood and Elstree Museum in 96 Shenley Road is displaying toys and games from the 70s, 80ss and 90s to kids and adults alike.
Classic toys such as My Little Pony, Action Man, Gameboy will be displayed alongside iconic gadgets like the Casio calculator and Sony Walkman and traditional board games like Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit.
There will also be two interactive tables to allow kids to get stuck into what the games their parents used to play
Councillor Caroline Clapper, for leisure, culture and health, said: "This exhibition is a really interesting look into technology in the 70s through to today.
“I think it will take our residents back to their childhood, with a look at the games, gadgets and electronic toys over the past 40 years.
“Many memories of hours wasted trying to beat the gadget, or rack up the highest score will come flooding back, and your kids may get hooked too!”
The free exhibition is open from Tuesday to Thursday between midday and 6pm, and on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
