The Forbidden Forest isn't so forbidden anymore.

Celebrities were invited to the launch of a brand new attraction at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London.

Stars included Harry Potter actors Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, Weasley twins James and Oliver Phelps and Warwick Davies, who played Professor Flitwick, all attended the launch of the Forbidden Forest attraction at the studios.

Celebrities were invited to the official launch event at the Studio Tour, where they followed spiders on the green carpet into the Forbidden Forest.

After they were welcomed by a bowing Buckbeak and came face-to-face with Aragog, the huge spider, along with his family of spiderlings.

Other celebrities who attended the event on Tuesday night included Thandie Newton, Kimberly Wyatt, Johnny Vegas, Stephanie Pratt, Kate Garraway, Adam Garcia, Stacey Solomon, Jade Parfitt and Gizzi Erskine.

Guests were able to try the famous Butterbeer at Hagrid's table while also learning the tricks used by filmmakers to cheat scale and make Robbie Coltrane appear the size of a half-giant on screen.

Amongst the imposing trees in the Forbidden Forest, visitors will encounter a full size model of Buckbeak, which is new to the tour, and have the opportunity to bow to the majestic creature.

They will see up close the incredible detail and craftsmanship that went into creating the Hippogriff. Each feather had to be individually inserted and glued by the Creature Effects team who were busy adding feathers right up until the final moment Buckbeak was needed on set for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Officially opening on Friday, the new expansion offers guests a glimpse into how some of the films’ most iconic scenes were created.
