More than 40 volunteers helped bag pack for charity.
On Sunday March 19, more than 40 volunteers from World Jewish Relief turned up at Borehamwood Tesco to help people with their shopping.
They spent the day packing bags, distributing promotional materials and talking to members of the public about their organisation and the work is does within and beyond the Jewish community.
The volunteers, who were aged from two to 86 years old, raised £855 on the day from shoppers.
The oldest volunteer Norman said: "It was a really sociable day and wonderful to be a part of. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the Borehamwood shoppers were keen to know more about World Jewish Relief and delighted to support such an important charity."
