Primary pupils put their best sums forward for a competition to win a scholarship to the local grammar school.
Around 38 different schools based in Barnet, Harrow and other surrounding areas sent pupils to the eight annual maths challenge at North London Grammar School in Colindeep Lane, Colindale.
Over 150 year six (age 10-11) pupils were competing for a scholarship to the secondary grammar school and other gadget goodies.
Briangan Shripharan from the Hyde Primary School in Colindale won the first-place prize of a 50 per cent scholarship and a Notebook.
In attendance, Labour Colindale councillor Nagus Narenthira said: “I commend head teacher Mr Gokce for showing outstanding community spirit by hosting this event.”
Second place of a 25 per cent scholarship and an iPad Mini went to Luca Adams of St Andrews Primary School in Southgate.
Milan Varsani from Mount Stewart Junior School in Harrow won the third prize of a 10 per cent scholarship and an iPod Touch.
