Two former Elstree schoolboys have joined the world’s most famous and notable celebrities in the newest Who’s Who book.
Professor Robin Franklin, 52, a stem cell medicine researcher at the University of Cambridge, and Roderick Williams, 49, an opera singer who studied at Haberdashers Aske’s School, in Butterfly Lane, Elstree, are both listed in the 2015 edition.
Both were born in Barnet and their 13-line autobiographies are now featured in the book alongside pop star Damon Albarn, entertainer Paul O’Grady and US president Barack Obama.
The book contains potted biographies of 33,000 of the world’s most accomplished people. They will remain in the book until they die, when they will be transferred to Who Was Who.
