Planners have recommended refusing a golf course permission to build in the green belt.
The A1 Golf Driving Range, off Rowley Lane, submitted a planning application to Hertsmere Borough Council for a new two-storey reception and restaurant building.
In a report for the council’s planning committee, officers have recommended that councillors refuse planning permission.
It says the new buildings are inappropriate in green belt areas, and that the plans did not demonstrate any special circumstances.
The planning committee will meet in the civic offices in Borehamwood at 6pm on Thursday to discuss the application.
