A hardworking hearing pup has demonstrated his modelling talents in his new calendar.
Hearing dog for the deaf Aero, who has just completed his two star training award, has had a very busy few months as he’s been organising a puppy photo shoot for a charity calendar for next year.
Aero and owner Jan Quinton, of Shenley, decided to create the calendar to mark a very successful first year of the Hertfordshire Hearing Dogs Puppy Socialisers Group.
She said: “Some of our puppies have completed their training now and have been placed with deaf recipients which is extremely rewarding.
"We are all very proud of them - they have come a long way in the last 12 to 14 months.”
Puppy Socialiser member John Mobbs, an amateur photographer, got on board with the project and took a series of photographs of the doggy models at one of the regular puppy training classes in Harpenden.
Jan added: “It was quite an experience. Not as easy as it looks to keep their attention on the camera.”
Around 130 calendars have already been pre-ordered, but Aero – who models as Mr August - is hoping to sell around 250 to help raise money for his favourite charity, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Orders for the calendars, which cost £6 for one or £15 for three plus postage and packing, can be made by emailing jan.quinton@hotmail.co.uk.
Calendars will also be available at the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Christmas Market at The Grange, in Saunderton, on November 29.
