Doctors are encouraging people to get their flu vaccination this month.
The Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group, the GP group that pays for health services in the area, is supporting the NHS Flu campaign in preparation for an unpredictable flu season this winter.
Running until the end of October, the campaign will encourage people at risk of flu, who are eligible for the free flu vaccination, to take up the offer.
It is also aimed at parents of children aged two to four who are eligible for a newly available nasal spray vaccine.
Those eligible for the vaccine should contact their GP surgeries to book an appointment.
