A family from Radlett, whose lives have been turned upside down by blood cancer, have just returned from the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland, Paris.
The Nash family were nominated to go on the trip, funded annually by blood cancer charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, after their daughter Evie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) on December 31, 2012, when she was just three.
The awe and excitement of being in Disney was evident not only in the children’s faces, but their parents too and I am delighted the charity could play a part in creating lasting memories for such a deserving family.
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research relies entirely on the support of the general public and volunteers. If you would like to help beat blood cancer, please visit www.leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk.
