A free school that was meant to open in Radlett in September will hold an open meeting in London Colney next week.
Harperbury Free School was due to open this school year at the former Harperbury Hospital in Harpers Lane.
Its opening was delayed after schools’ minister Lord Nash announced in February the Department for Education had failed to secure the site in time.
A feasibility study has been conducted at the Harperbury Hospital site - which is still the preferred temporary location for the school.
A meeting will take place at London Colney Community Centre on Tuesday from 7.30pm. There will also be a meeting in Radlett on Monday and another in Borehamwood on Saturday.
Headteacher Martin Blain said a previous meeting in Shenley had gone "extremely well".
