Doves were released in remembrance of loved ones as part of an annual memorial event.
More than 170 people from Borehamwood attended The Co-operative Funeralcare’s annual memorial service and dove release to remember loved ones.
Families were treated to the sounds of a Highland piper and a special remembrance service was led by the Reverend Richard Leslie of St Michaels and All Angels Church and humanist celebrant John Graham.
The event, now in its sixth year, was attended by families who gathered to pay tribute to their loved ones along with funeral arranger Aimie Hutchin and funeral director Luke Slater.
Funeral home manager Charmian Alexander, said: “We provide this memorial service to the local community as part of our ongoing care and commitment to the people we are privileged to serve.
"All the hard work in organising the service is worth it when the families thank us afterwards and tell us they felt a great comfort in listening to the service and music.”
