The Hertfordshire Integrated Transport Control Centre has been shortlisted for an award in this year’s Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation Awards.
The Colas Technological Application Award celebrates the beneficial use of technology in the highways and transportation industry.
Rob Smith, deputy director of environment at Hertfordshire County Council, said: “This award recognised the ITCC and our wider programme to develop intelligent transport systems. Our aim is to make Hertfordshire a better place to live and work and ensure that the county has reliable transport routes that help our economy to thrive.”
The winners will be announced at the annual awards ceremony on June 11 at the Royal Courts of Justice.
