Weather forecasters are warning drivers to take care on the county's roads as hail strikes Hertfordshire.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the county as heavy showers and thunderstorms batter the area throughout today.
The harsh weather is expected to cause disruption to travel, with the possibility of localised flooding, hail covering roads and damage from lighting strikes.
A yellow warning means members of the public should be aware of the weather forecast and should prepare for delays.
