Gardeners can learn more about how to grow a vegetable patch at a workshop in Elstree.
The event will feature a talk from gardening expert Bob Clark, who will be giving advice on how to start growing food at this late stage in the year.
It has been organised by Borehamwood & District Garden Craft Society member Rose Barry. The group regularly holds competitons throughout the year.
Anyone is invited to turn up to the event on Thursday, May 16 at Allum Hall, Allum Lane, Elstree, from 7.30pm. It costs £5 for non members and £3 for members.
For more information, ring Rose on 02082072237.
