An award-nominated theatre company is bringing two family-friendly shows to Harrow this summer.

Immersion Theatre will bring their trademark energy to Headstone Manor & Museum for two fantastical, larger-than-life, open-air performances.

Start off the summer holidays by coming along to watch the most romantic and magical comedy of them all, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, on Monday, July 29, at 6pm. Set in Great Britain just before the start of the Great War, this hilarious and highly accessible adaptation sees Shakespeare’s fantastical characters transported to a time of unparalleled peace and prosperity. Four young lovers, a band of hapless actors, and a magical realm populated by enchanting spirits set on causing mischief at every turn culminate in an open-air experience of beauty and hilarity.

In the second performance, follow Alice and the White Rabbit as they set off on a colourful, topsy-turvy adventure like no other in Alice in Wonderland on Monday, August 19, at 6pm, and meet a host of outlandish characters including Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the notorious Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire cat and of course, the Mad-as-a-bat-Hatter. To make the day even better, children and adults alike are invited to meet the characters after the show.

Tickets are £12/£10 concessions/£40 family or group ticket (two standard and two under-16 tickets) for each event and ideally for ages 2+. To find out more or to buy tickets, visit www.harrowarts.com or call 020 3773 7161.
