For their next production, Ruislip Dramatic Society invite you to join them for a wonderfully mysterious comedy thriller. The group will be performing Eric Chappell’s The Night in Question, a brand new whodunnit filled with twists and turns and a selection of red herrings that will keep you guessing till the very end.

When a woman is attacked in a city car park the staff of nearby Faraday Finance fall under suspicion, especially Brian Heath whose first wife died under mysterious circumstances. To Inspector Rudkin, it seems a clear-cut case, particularly after Heath is selected at an identification parade.

But nothing is straightforward in this skilfully written comedy-thriller.

As the investigation intensifies, the case becomes more complex as the alibis of Heath’s co-workers fall into doubt and everyone’s motivations are ultimately called into question.

Penned by hit TV sitcom writer Eric Chappell (creator of Rising Damp and Duty Free), The Night in Question is a gift for all those who love a good whodunnit, but with plenty of laughs along the way. Chappell himself is now well-known as one of Britain’s top writers having written over 200 TV comedy scripts and 20 stage plays which have been performed worldwide.
