Panto season is coming early to Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar this Sunday, as The Vienna Festival Ballet is presenting the timeless fairytale, Snow White.

Based on the traditional Brothers’ Grimm story, Snow White goes on a journey through a magical world, where in a more modern twist she meets seven hip-hopping dwarves, an enchanted mirror and a poisoned apple, before finding her Prince Charming.

The ballet has been choreographed by Barry McGrath and is set to an array of orchestrated pieces by various composers including Faris and Gounod, with the music being specially written for the production.

The company was founded by Austrian dancer Peter Mallek in 1980 and now is in its 37th year of producing ballet productions all over the world.

Vienna Festival Ballet are well known for their lavish handmade costumes and commitment to bringing some of the greatest classical ballets to the widest possible audience.

The ballet promises to be a treat for the whole family, whether you’re already a fan of this classical style of dancing or experiencing it for the very first time.
