We moved into the house in 1999 and over the last 21 years have transformed it into our much-loved home. Having lived in a flat on a busy road, we were attracted by the tranquil cul-de-sac setting of Carisbrook Close as well as the large garden, which has given our family ample space in which to relax and entertain. Many of our neighbours have raised their families here and there is a rich mix of people who look out for each other without being intrusive. We were lucky to have the choice of several good and outstanding primary and secondary schools nearby which meant our daughter could safely walk to school each day and had many friends in the local area.

Whilst we are close to the various shops of Enfield Town, Lancaster Road and the A10, we also have having a range of leisure facilities on our doorstep. This includes the stunning landscapes of Forty Hall, Middleton House and Hilly Fields where we have enjoyed walking, cycling, sledging and picnicking with friends. In addition, Forty Hall offers a range of events including open air theatre productions, themed fairs and workshops, and visits to the Forty Hall Farm – a really exciting experience during lambing season. We will take with us special memories of concerts in the bandstand at Hilly Fields and spending time with our daughter in the two children's playgrounds just round the corner. We certainly won't forget teaching her to ride a bike at the nearby King George V playing fields!

Transport links are reliable and frequent with Enfield Town and Gordon Hill stations just a short walk away. Access to the A10 and the M25 is the gateway to the rest of the country and the Continent which we have often taken advantage of.

It is with a heavy heart that we find ourselves moving away from our lovely home back to the North West of England to be nearer our families. We will be taking with us special memories of our time in Enfield and Carisbrook Close, and hope that you will love it here as much as we have
