TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (GENERAL PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT) ORDER 1995 (AS AMENDED) NOTICE OF MAKING ARTICLE 4(1) DIRECTIONS
Hertsmere Borough Council gives notice that the Council has made non-immediate Directions under Article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (as amended) in respect of the following classes of development within the identified locations listed below:
Development consisting of a change use of a building and any land within its curtilage from a use falling within
Class Bl(a) (offices) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of that Schedule being development comprised within Class O of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Order and not being development comprised within any other Class.
Class Bl(c) (light industrial) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of that Schedule being development comprised within Class PA of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Order and not being development comprised within any other Class.
Class B8 (storage or distribution) of the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of that Schedule being development comprised within Class P of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Order and not being development comprised within any other Class.
Employment Areas - (1) Elstree Way and (2) Stirling Way, Borehamwood; (3) Cranborne Road and (4) Station Close, Potters Bar; and (5) Otterspool Way, Bushey;
Key Employment Site - (1) Centennial Park, Elstree; and
Locally Significant Employment Sites - (1) Wrotham Business Park; (2) Borehamwood Enterprise Centre and (3) Theobald Court, Borehamwood; (4) Lismirrane Industrial Park, Elstree; (5) Hollies Way, Potters Bar; (6) Beaumont Gate, Radlett; (7) Farm Close, Shenley.
The effect of the Directions is to require applications to be made for permission for those classes of development granted by Article 3 of the Order. The Directions and Plans may be seen at the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, & Borehamwood Library, 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood, Herts, Monday to Saturday between opening hours. Representations on the Directions must be made in writing through www.hertsmere.gov.uk/article4 or to the Planning Strategy Team, Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts, WD6 1WA on or before 7th June 2019.
