HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED SINUSOIDIAL SPEED HUMPS - BROADWATER ROAD N17
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to introduce sinusoidal speed humps in sections of Broadwater Road N17 under Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999.
2. The proposed sinusoidal speed humps would be introduced at the following locations:-
(a) Outside Nos. 11 and 12 Broadwater Road;
(b) Outside Nos. 34 and 35 Broadwater Road;
(c) Outside No. 55 and Gaven House Broadwater Road;
(d) Outside Nos. 71 and 78 Broadwater Road;
(e) Outside Nos. 92, 95 and 97 Broadwater Road;
(f) Outside Nos. 110, 112, 115 and 117 Broadwater Road.
The speed humps would be approximately 75 millimetres in height, approximately 3.75 metres in length, with gradients of 1:15 to 1:20 on the ramps and would extend across the full width of the carriageway.
3. A plan showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice during normal office working hours at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.
4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed speed humps should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof, or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 5th Floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or by email to email@example.com within 21 days of the date on which this Notice is published.
