THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2018

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARYCLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2018

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at anytime on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. thatlength of Ashley Drive, Borehamwood from its junction with Furzehill Road north eastwards to its junction with the Ripon Way/Balmoral Drive roundabout, adistance of approximately 528 metres.

An alternative route will be via Furzehill Road, Cranes Wayand Ripon Way.
2. thatlength of Brook Road, Borehamwood from its junction with the B5378 Shenley Road/A5135 Elstree Wayroundabout north westwards to its junction with the Gateshead Road/Leeming Road roundabout, adistance of approximately 1083 metres.

An alternative route will be via B5378 (Shenley Road/Cowley Hill) and Gateshead Road.
3. thatlength of Grove Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Brook Road north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Gateshead Road, adistance of approximately 454 metres.

An alternative route will be via Brook Road and Gateshead Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1June 2018 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
Acopy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding
weekends, bank and public holidays).

NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire CountyCouncil has madethe above Order under Section 14[1] of theRoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984,toprohibit alltraffic from usingthatlength of B5378 CowleyHill, Borehamwood from its junctionwithB5378 Green Street south eastwards to its junction withB5378 Shenley Road("the Road"), adistanceof approximately1109 metres, except foraccess. An alternative route will be via B5378 (Green Street/Woodhall Lane/London Road/Black Lion Hill/Shenleybury), B556 Harper Lane, A5183 Watling Street, Theobald Street and B5378 Shenley Road.
ADDITIONALLYall vehicles areprohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Roadwhilstworks are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is giventhatthe Hertfordshire County Councilintends to make an Order under Section 14[1] of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984,toprohibit alltraffic from using thatlength of York Crescent, Borehamwoodf rom its junction with RowleyLanesouthwestwards andsouth eastwardstoits junction withA5135 Elstree Way("the Road"), adistance of approximately 206 metres,except foraccess. An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane and A5135 (Rowley Lane/Elstree Way) or via A5135 Elstree Wayand Rowley Lane. ADDITIONALLYall vehiclesare prohibited from waiting at anytime on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 11 June 2018 for aperiod of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (WINSTRE ROAD AND ALBAN CRESCENT, BOREHAMWOOD) (ONE WAYTRAFFIC) ORDER 2018 THE HERTFORDSHIRE (WINSTRE ROAD,BOREHAMWOOD) (20 MPH ZONE) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given thatthe Hertfordshire County Council in order to maintain road safety and correct an administrative error proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to regulate aone way traffic restriction and a20mph zone in Borehamwood, as specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposals may be inspected from 24 May 2018, by visiting in person, during normal office hours, the offices of Hertsmere Borough Council, Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood or Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford, or may be viewed on line at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/trafficorders by selecting Hertsmere and looking at Ref: H00118

SCHEDULE 1: One way traffic - effecting the entire lengths of the roads herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plans-Winstre Road (south east to north west) and Alban Crescent (south west to north east). SCHEDULE 2:20 mph Zone - effecting the entire length of the road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying Elan-Winstre Road
