THE HARINGEY (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON CAB RANKS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2018 THE HARINGEY (FREE LOADING PLACES) (NO. 1) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2018 T49
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 29th April 2018 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to convert existing loading bays (or sections of) into part time operation in order to allow Transport for London to introduce part time taxi ranks at the same locations, and be enforced by Haringey Council:-
(a) outside Nos. 40 to 50 Bounds Green Road, the loading bay will operate between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays and the taxi rank will operate between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Mondays to Sundays;
(b) outside Wellington Terrace, Turnpike Lane (a section of existing loading bay) which will operate between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays and the taxi rank will operate between 6.30 p.m. and 8 a.m. on Mondays to Sundays.
3. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 3rd April 2018, of plans which indicates the locations and effects of the Orders, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
