HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE BRERETON ROAD AND ORCHARD PLACE N17: PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF SPEED TABLE, REDUCTION OF PARKING PLACE AND EXTENSION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS THE HARINGEY (TOTTENHAM CPZS) (DESIGNATIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201* THE HARINGEY (TOTTENHAM CPZS) (SECTION 6) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201* T85
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, under sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended) and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 proposes to introduce a speed table and proposes to reduce the length of a parking place and extend existing waiting restrictions with the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, as detailed below.
2. It is proposed that: -
(a) a speed table would be introduced at the junction of Brereton Road and Orchard Place N17, extending into Orchard Place by approximately 9 metres and extending north into Brereton Road by approximately 8 metres and south by approximately 10 metres.
(b) the length of an existing permit holders only parking place located on the west side of Brereton Road, at this junction, would be reduced by one parking space, and the length of the existing double yellow line waiting restrictions at this location would be extended.
The speed table would be approximately 75 millimetres in height, with gradients of 1:15 to 1:20 on the ramps and would extend across the full width of the carriageway.
3. A plan showing the location of the speed table may be inspected for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice during normal office working hours at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/ traffic_orders.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.
5. Any person desiring to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, or their representation, to the Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 5th Floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or to email@example.com within 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published.
