M1 MOTORWAY - JUNCTIONS 6A -6 (NEAR BRICKET WOOD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited intends to make an Order on the M1 Motorway in the County of Hertfordshire, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order would be to authorise the overnight closureof:-
1. the southbound carriageway of the M1 between Junction 6A (M25 Junction 21A) and Junction 6(A405); and

2. the slip road leading from the southbound carriageway of the M1 at Junction 6(A405).

These measures would be in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake pavement works, electrical works, barrier works, earthworks, sign works and all associated works. It is expected that the work would last for approximately 9weeks starting on or after Friday 1st December 2017. The overnight closures would take place between (maximum period): Monday-Thursday nights 22:00-05:30

Friday nights 23:00-06:00

Saturday nights 22:00-06:00

Sunday nights 22:30-05:30

The Order would come into force on 29 November 2017 and have amaximum duration of eighteen months. Traffic affected by the closurewould be diverted to use the M25 clockwise to Junction 22 (A1081), returnanti-clockwise to M25 Junction 21A, exit, and then travel to M1 Junction 6using the A405 southbound. The temporary closures and diversion routes would be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they areinoperation during the works period.

M25 MOTORWAYJJUNCTIONS 19-24) TEMPORARYTRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the Counties of Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, under Section 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works areproposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to permit during overnight works, as advised by traffic signs, HGVs to use the outside lane under lane closureconditions in the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between -
(i) the exit slip road at Junction 19 (A41), and apoint 290metres south-west of Egg Farm Lane overbridge;

(ii) apoint 450 metres east of Bedmond Road overbridge, and the entry slip road at Junction 21A (A405);

(iii) apoint 250 metres south-east of the

St Albans Road (B556) underbridge, and the exit slip road at Junction 23 (A1(M)); and
(iv) apoint 890metres east of Baker Street underbridge, and Cattegate Road underbridge.

These measures areinthe interests of road safety while contractors undertake gantry sign repairs and all associated works. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 4weeks starting on or after Tuesday 14th November 2017. The overnight closures will take place between (maximum period):
Monday - Thursday nights 22:00-05:30

Friday nights 23:00-06:00

The Order will come into force on
12 November 2017 and have amaximum
duration of eighteen months.
The temporary lane closures and outside lane
running will be clearly indicated by traffic
signs when they areinoperation during the
works period.
