PUBLIC NOTICE - HARINGEY COUNCIL PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES, AND PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO, AND REMOVAL OF, EXISTING DISABLED AND DOCTOR PARKING PLACES - VARIOUS ROADS THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2017 THE HARINGEY (DOCTOR PARKING PLACES)
(AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2017 AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS T10
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 20th April 2017 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and will introduce footway parking places, exempted under the GLC General Powers Act 1974.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-
(i) introduce new disabled persons' parking places, at a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' 'blue badge' will be permitted to park, either outside of, or alongside, the following properties:- 22, Albert Road N15; 37A Alison Road N8; 7 Almond Road N17; 20A Bedford Road N15; 125, Boundary Road N22; 7, Buller Road N17; Flat 1, 6, Clarence Road N22; 55, Courtman Road N17; 121, Craven Park Road N15; 17, Dongola Road N17; 39 Grand Avenue N10; Coleridge Primary School, Haslemere Road N8; 240, Hermitage Road N4 - bay located in Vale Road; 60, Hill Road N10; 28B Lascott's Road N22; 17, Nightingale Lane N8; 224, Northumberland Park N17; 50, Penrith Road N15; 20, Ripon Road N17; 75, Risley Avenue N17; 107, Rivulet Road N17 - bay located in Stockton Road; 27,Salisbury Road N22; 6, Solway Road N22; 102, The Avenue N17; 4, Tilson Road N17;16, Trulock Road N17; 50B and 94B Truro Road N22; 31B, Upper Tollington Park N4; 54, Wargrave Avenue N15; 43, Woodside Gardens N17; and 126 Woodside Road N22;
(ii) amend the location and/or layout of existing disabled parking bays either outside of the following properties, or at the following locations:- 94B, Palmerston Road N22 - bay located in Lascotts Road; and 96, St. Loy's Road N17;
(iii) remove disabled parking bays outside (unless otherwise stated) of the following properties:- Birch House and Erica House, Acacia Road N22; 23-25, Albert Road N22; 33, Alison Road N8; adjacent to 3, Arnold Road N15; 34, Avenue Road N6; 15, Belmont Road N15, 3, Bennington Road N17, 40, Birkbeck Road N17; 52, Blake Road N11; 76, Boundary Road N22; 23, Carysfort Road N8; 40, Church Crescent N10; 77, Clarence Road N22, 3, Devonshire Road N17; 70, Durban Road N17; 28, Eldon Road N22; 34, Greyhound Road N17; 102, Hewitt Avenue N22; 66 Hewitt Road N8; 47, Langdon Park Road N6; 10, Lynmouth Road N2; 63, Meads Road N22; 304, Mount Pleasant Road N17; 1A, New Road N22; 26, 88, 93 and 115 Nightingale Road N22; 24, North Grove N15; 43 Rivulet Road N17; 33, Thorold Road N22; 93, Wargrave Avenue N15; 74, Woodside Road N22; and 17, Woodstock Road N4; and
(iv) remove a doctors parking bay outside 18, St. John's Road N15.
3. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 1 st May 2017, of plans which indicates the locations and effects of the Orders, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
