THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN BOREHAMWOOD, ELSTREE AND SHENLEY) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Grantham Green, Borehamwood from its junction with Dacre Gardens north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.



An alternative route will be via Dacre Gardens, Ashley Drive and Burghley Avenue.

2. that length of Brodewater Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Broughinge Road north westwards to its junction with Hartforde Road, a distance of approximately 110 metres.



An alternative route will be via Broughinge Road, Brook Road and Hartforde Road.

3. that length of Summer Grove, Elstree from its junction with A411 Barnet Lane south westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

4. that length of Ealing Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Studio Way north eastwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. that length of Cage Pond Road, Shenley from its junction with Pound Lane south eastwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

6. that length of Nicholas Road, Elstree from its junction with Deacons Hill Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 318 metres.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

7. that length of Clare Close, Elstree from its junction with Nicholas Road south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

8. that length of Buckingham Road, Borehamwood from its northernmost junction with Norfolk Gardens south eastwards, northwards, southwards and westwards to its southernmost junction with Norfolk Gardens, a distance of approximately 573 metres.



An alternative route will be via Norfolk Gardens.

9. that length of Burghley Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Ashley Drive north westwards to its junction with Cranes Way, a distance of approximately 303 metres.



An alternative route will be via Ashley Drive, the service road fronting Nos.141-167 Furzehill Road and Cranes Way.

10. that length of Carrington Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Lullington Garth south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the service road fronting Nos.166-172 Furzehill Road,



a distance of approximately 478 metres. An alternative route will be via Lullington Garth and the service road fronting Nos.166-172 Furzehill Road.

11. that length of Coopers Crescent, Borehamwood from its junction with the Studio Way/ Denham Way roundabout south westwards, north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

12. that length of Cranes Way, Borehamwood from its junction with Furzehill Road north eastwards to its junction with the Manor Way/Ripon Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 315 metres.



An alternative route will be via Furzehill Road, Ashley Drive and Ripon Way.

13. that length of Cygnet Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Studio Way north westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

14. that length of Dacre Gardens, Borehamwood from its junction with Ashley Drive north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Ripon Way, a distance of approximately 331 metres.



An alternative route will be via Ashley Drive and Ripon Way.

15. that length of Denham Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the Studio Way/ Coopers Crescent roundabout north eastwards, north westwards, south westwards and westwards to its junction with the Potters Lane roundabout, a distance of approximately 531 metres.



An alternative route will be via Studio Way, Rowley Lane, Alexandra Road and Potters Lane.

16. that length of Grenfell Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way northwards, north westwards and westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

17. that length of Hackney Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Farriers Way north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

18. that length of Novello Way, Borehamwood from its junction with Denham Way north eastwards for a distance of approximately 47 metres.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

19. that length of Penscroft Gardens, Borehamwood from its junction with Norfolk Gardens eastwards and northwards to its junction with Buckingham Road, a distance of approximately 213 metres.



An alternative route will be via Norfolk Gardens and Buckingham Road.

20. that length of Pinewood Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Studio Way south westwards, north westwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and northwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

21. that length of Howard Drive, Borehamwood from its junction with Balmoral Drive south eastwards to its junction with Wansford Park, a distance of approximately 265 metres.



An alternative route will be via Balmoral Drive, Newark Green, Tempsford Avenue and Wansford Park.

22. that length of Thirsk Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Walshford Way south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Stanborough Avenue, a distance of approximately



691 metres.

An alternative route will be via Walshford Way and Stanborough Avenue.

23. that length of Studio Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the Rowley Lane roundabout westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with the Banks Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 548 metres.



An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane, A5135 Elstree Way and Studio Way.

24. that length of Stanborough Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Gateshead Road north westwards to its junction with Stapleton Road, a distance of approximately 803 metres.



An alternative route will be via Gateshead Road, Aycliffe Road, Brampton Terrace and Stapleton Road.

25. that length of Shepperton Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Studio Way north westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

26. that length of Reston Close, Borehamwood from its junction with Thirsk Road south westwards and north westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

27. that length of Pursley Gardens, Borehamwood from its junction with Thirsk Road south westwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

28. that length of Walshford Way, Borehamwood from its junction with Stanborough Avenue south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Aycliffe Road, a distance of approximately 484 metres.



An alternative route will be via Stanborough Avenue, Stapleton Road, Brampton Terrace and Aycliffe Road.

29. that length of Norfolk Gardens, Borehamwood from its junction with Arundel Drive north westwards to its junction with Kenilworth Drive, a distance of approximately



414 metres.

An alternative route will be via Arundel Drive, Featherstone Gardens and Kenilworth Drive.

30. that length of Wansford Park, Borehamwood from its junction with Tempsford Avenue south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length.



An alternative route will be via Tempsford Avenue and Howard Drive.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A411

BARNET LANE, BOREHAMWOOD) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with the Furzehill Road/ Farriers Way roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 438 metres ("the Road"), except for access.

An alternative route will be via A411 Barnet Lane, A5183 (High Street/Elstree Hill North), B5378 (Allum Lane/Shenley Road), A5135 Elstree Way, A1 Barnet Bypass and A411 Barnet Lane. The Order is needed because bus stop repair and improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Wentworth Avenue, Elstree from its junction with The Rise south eastwards to its junction with Nicholas Road, a distance of approximately 201 metres.



An alternative route will be via The Rise, Deacons Hill Road and Nicholas Road.

2. that length of B5378 Allum Lane, Elstree from its junction with A5183 Watling Street north eastwards to its junction with Deacons Hill Road, a distance of approximately 1182 metres.



An alternative route will be via A5183 (Elstree Hill North/High Street), A411 Barnet Lane, Furzehill Road and B5378 (Shenley Road/Allum Lane).

3. the service road fronting Nos.23-35 Allum Lane, Elstree from its junction with B5378 Allum Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Lodge Avenue,



a distance of approximately 161 metres. An alternative route will be via B5378 Allum Lane and Lodge Avenue.

4. that length of Anthony Road, Borehamwood from its junction with Theobald Street south westwards and south eastwards for its entire length.



There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

5. the Rowley Lane/Studio Way roundabout, Borehamwood from its junction with Studio Way clockwise for its entire length.



An alternative route will be via Rowley Lane, Alexandra Road, Potters Lane, Denham Way, Studio Way, A5135 Elstree Way and Rowley Lane.

6. that length of Masefield Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Lullington Garth north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with the service road fronting Nos.148-164 Furzehill Road, a distance of approximately 486 metres.



An alternative route will be via Lullington Garth and the service road fronting Nos.148-164 Furzehill Road.

7. that length of Farriers Way, Borehamwood from its junction with the A411 Barnet Lane/Furzehill Road roundabout north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Ashley Drive,



a distance of approximately 752 metres. An alternative route will be via Furzehill Road and Ashley Drive.

8. that length of Radlett Lane, Shenley from a point



205 metres south west of its junction with Porters Park Drive south westwards to its junction with Shenley Hill, a distance of approximately 1187 metres. An alternative route will be via Radlett Lane, B5378 (Black Lion Hill/Shenleybury), B556 Harper Lane, A5183 Watling Street and

Shenley Hill.

9. that length of B5378 Shenleybury, Shenley from its junction with Porters Park Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 718 metres.



An alternative route will be via B5378 (Black Lion Hill/London Road), Rectory Lane, B556 (Ridge Hill/Bell Lane) and B5378 Shenleybury.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 1 April 2017 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
