(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN CROXLEY GREEN AND WATFORD) ORDER 2020

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING ANO TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS)
IN CROXLEY GREEN AND WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1.  that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with the A412 Watford Road/A412 Scots Hill roundabout north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with Loudwater Lane, a distance of approximately 1141 m. An alternative route will be via A412 (Scots Hill Park Road),A404 Chorleywood Road and Loudwater Lane.
2.  that length of The Green, Croxley Green from its junction with Little Green Lane north westwards to its junction with Sarratt Road, a distance of approximately 183m. An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, A412 (Watford Road/Scots Hill), A404 Chorleywood Road and Loudwater Lane.
3.  that length of Sarratt Road, Croxley Green from its junction with The Green north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, A412 (Park Road/Scots Hill), A404 (Chorleywood Road/Rickmansworth Road), Solesbridge Lane and Sarratt Road.
4. that length of Loudwater Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with The Green north westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.
An alternative route will be via Baldwins Lane, A412 (Park Road/Scots Hill), A404 Chorleywood Road and Loudwater Lane.
5.  that length of Vicarage Road, Watford from a point 30m south west of its junction with Franklin Avenue south westwards for a distance of approximately 190m.
An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road, A4145 (Hagden Lane/Tolpits Lane), Tolpits Lane, High View and Vicarage Road or via Vicarage Road, Scammell Way, A4145 (Tolpits Lane/Hagden Lane) and Vicarage Road.
6.  that length of Vicarage Road, Watford from its junction with Charlock Way south westwards for a distance of approximately 207m.
An alternative route will be via Vicarage Road and Moor View.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
tt the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 June 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

{TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTPATH
IN BOREHAMWOOD, BUSHEY AND BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
a)  that length of Elmwood Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with Furzehill Road north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
b)  that length of Mendip Road, Bushey from its junction with Pentland Road north eastwards to its junction with little Bushey Lane, a distance of approximately 125m.
An alternative route will be via Pentland Road, Cotswold Avenue and little Bushey Lane.
c)  that length of Stevens Green, Bushey Heath from its junction with Beamish Drive north eastwards and northwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
d)  that length of Turner Road, Bushey from its junction with Sutcliffe Close south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Harcourt Road, a distance of approximately 129m.
An alternative route will be via Sutcliffe Close, Geddes Road, Little Bushey Lane, Coldharbour Lane, Reddings Avenue and Harcourt Road.
e)  that length of Geddes Road, Bushey from its junction with Sutcliffe Close north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with little Bushey Lane, a distance of approximately 66m.
An alternative route will be via Sutcliffe Close, Turner Road, Harcourt Road, Reddings Avenue, Coldharbour Lane and little Bushey Lane.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated to the rear of Nos.140-146 Milton Drive, Borehamwood from its easternmost junction with Milton Drive northwards and westwards for a distance of approximately 48m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north and east sides of Milton Drive. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads
and Footpath.
tt the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 June 2020 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads and Footpath.

{TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NEW STREET, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length
of New Street, Watford from its junction with Church Street north westwards for a distance
of approximately 45m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via King Street and A411 Exchange Road.
The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

{TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BERRY LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Berry Lane, Chorleywood from a point in line with the western boundary of 'Berry Lodge' north eastwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Stag Lane, Rendlesham Way, Quickley Lane, Chorleywood Bottom, Common Gate Road and Berry Lane.
The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
