(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BERRY AVENUE,
WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length
of Berry Avenue, Watford from its junction with Cherry Tree Road south eastwards to its junction
with Ash Tree Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 252m, except for access.
An alternative route will be via Cherry Tree Road, Leggatts Wood Avenue and Ash Tree Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length
of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing works are proposed to be executed on
or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near
the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN A412 ST ALBANS
ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A412
St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue roundabout south
westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the A411 Beechen Grove/
A411 Hempstead Road roundabout (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 2327m.
An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way/Otterspool
Way), A4008 Stephenson Way and A411 (Beechen Grove/Exchange Road/Beechen Grove) or via
A411 Beechen Grove, A4008 Stephenson Way and A41 (Otterspool Way/North Western Avenue Colne
Way/North Western Avenue).
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the
Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near
the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILFIELD LANE, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of
Hilfield Lane, Aldenham from its junction with Summerhouse Lane north westwards to its junction
with Pegmire Lane (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 293m.
An alternative route will be via Hilfield Lane, Sandy Lane, A41 Elton Way, B462 Hartspring Lane
and Hilfield Lane.
The Order is needed because utility maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 14 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near
the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS
IN MAPLE CROSS AND RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following
lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any
time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the service road fronting Nos.28-172 Denham Way, Maple Cross from its junction with Chalfont
Road south westwards for its entire length.
An alternative route will be via Chalfont Road, Hornhill Road and Woodland Road.
2. the service road fronting Nos.129-147 Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its westernmost
junction with Highfield Way south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its
entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However
vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the
duration of the works.
3. the service road fronting Nos.12-36 Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its westernmost
junction with Highfield Way north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for its
entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However
vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the
duration of the works.
4. the service road fronting Nos.11-33 Highfield Way, Rickmansworth from its westernmost
junction with Highfield Way south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for its
entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However
vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the
duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 May 2020 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near
the Roads.
