Arsenal Ladies have won the Women's FA Cup with a 4-1 victory over Leeds United.
Faye White's Borehamwood-based side picked up the trophy in front of a record attendance for the women's final at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.
A close opening 45 minutes was followed by an open second half, with the Gunners' goals coming from Kelly Smith, Jayne Ludlow and Lianne Sanderson, as Leeds' goalkeeper Carly Telford's heroic performance failed to keep Arsenal at bay.
I love watching women's football. I don't know why so many people are critical of the sport. Ok they are not like the men,but then I don't watching expecting to see Ronaldo's skill or Obafemi Martin's speed, I watch for more competitve games and a more thinking game, like chess.
Faye White is a great ambasador for the sport, and for British women, far better than rolling round getting plastered in the street.
The Arsenal women deserve more praise for their performances in recent years.
Well done.
