Tabard avenged their only defeat of the season by seeing off UCS Old Boys 24-7 on Saturday.
They struck first after just seven minutes, when full-back Joe Cunningham fed Neil Hopcroft, who in turn passed to wing Matty Roberts for a great try in the corner.
From a UCS scrum, the ball was fumbled at the base and flanker Ashley Hall gathered and made the initial surge, before passing to Hopcroft who galloped in for the second try. Ten minutes into the second half, pressure on the UCS line was rewarded, when second row Darren Kidd forced his way over after Cunningham had been stopped just short. The final Tabard try, after UCS had got one for themselves, came in injury time, when Andy Murphy went over after a scrum.
Tabard host Hampstead at Cobden Hill, Radlett, this Saturday (2.30pm).
