Boreham Wood were forced to settle for a replay in their FA Trophy fifth round tie with Sutton United after playing out a goalless draw at Gander Green Lane.
The two sides will have to face off once more tomorrow night when United visit Meadow Park Luke Garrard may well see the draw as an opportunity missed after Sutton were reduced to nine men as Ben Jefford and Craig Eastmond both saw red.
Indeed, the hosts had to play over an hour with 10 men while the final 20 minutes were played out with Wood enjoying a two man advantage.
Clear cut chances were few and far between at both ends of the pitch and a deep cross, which was wasted by Anthony Jeffrey, was the closest either came to a genuine opening.
Morgan Ferrier went altogether closer just after the restart, but saw his shot drift just wide of the post.
With 18 minutes to play, a reckless challenge from Eastmond was deemed worthy of a straight red card.
Wood made the most of their numerical advantage and dominated the remainder of the match. They even had the ball in the net, only to be denied by the offside flag.
They will hope to get the better of Sutton tomorrow, with the winner earning a quarter-final meeting with Lincoln City.
