Former Cambridge United striker Jordan Chiedozie has become Luke Garrard's first January arrival at Boreham Wood.
The striker, 21, joins Wood after his contract at the Abbey Stadium was cancelled by mutual consent.
Wood boss Garrard had stated he would use the January transfer window to bolster his squad in their battle against an immediate return to the National League South.
Chiedozie began his career with hometown club Bournemouth before being released in 2014 without making a first-team appearance.
He spent time with local non-league outfit Poole Town before moving onto Concord Rangers and, latterly, Cambridge.
The striker made eight appearances for the U's - two of which were league starts - and spent time on loan at Dartford and Braintree Town before leaving the club for good.
