Lee Hodson has been added to the full Northern Ireland squad for their friendly in Malta next week.

The Watford defender, who is currently on loan at Brentford and played in their 2-2 FA Cup draw against Chelsea on Sunday, has been added by boss Michael O’Neill for the game at the Ta’Qali National Stadium on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old Borehamwood resident moved to Griffin Park in November and clocked up his 100th professional club appearance in his temporary club’s 2-2 draw against Leyton Orient last week.
