Arsenal Soccer Schools have launched their 2013 programmes for Hertfordshire.
The year kicked off with a special soccer school at the Arsenal Training Centre in Shenley and London Colney.
More than 60 local boys and girls aged between five and 14 took part in the day.
The young footballers worked on passing, moving, and various skills and techniques.
The day ended in a tournament with prizes given out by Olympian and Arsenal Ladies striker Ellen White.
Arsenal Soccer Schools’ next event is a free session at Boreham Wood on Saturday, January 26.
Players will have a taste of the new Development Centre opening at the same venue this month.
Those selected will then be invited to train at anadvanced training programme that will take place on a weekly basis and focus on improving all aspects of their performance.
Coaches at the centre have worked in development programmes for many years and have awards UEFA and the FA on their CV.
Arsenal Soccer Schools are looking for all talented players in the area from six to 14 years old.
Players must book in advance to attend and spaces are limited.
