Hertfordshire's Hell's Belles held the county's first roller derby event
Hertfordshire's Hell's Belles suffered a narrow 177-154 defeat to Bedfordshire in the county's first ever roller derby event.
Aldenham School Sports Centre in Elstree welcomed close to 200 spectators for the match which was the sixth leg of the 'End of the World Series'.
Roller derby is a highly competitive, fast, athletic, full-contact sport played on quad roller skates. The full-contact element means that players are allowed to use their bodies to obstruct the opposing team and forcefully hit them out of play on skates.
Hell’s Belles Roller Girls gave it their all in front of the home crowd but after a close and tense match they just lost out.
